The International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM 2024) is an invite-only conference series with events in Africa, Latin America, Asia Pacific, North America, and the pinnacle event in Cannes, France. Invited attendees spend three days in back-to-back pre-arranged meetings with vendors from all over the world and the most luxurious names in travel.
Additionally, lunches, dinners, and after-parties fill nearly every spare moment during the conference held at the same site as the film festival on the coast of the French Riviera. It’s an opportunity for brands and agencies to meet and connect with brands they know, and those they don’t offering an opportunity for both parties to expand their relationship.
Our DACH and France representative, Alexandra Rosterg, spent 3 eventful days meeting partners and new leads in the luxury sector.
ILTM opened its doors once again for its luxury B2B audience from December 2nd to December 5th 2024.
The event began on the evening of December 2nd at the famous Palais des Festival & Congrès in Cannes. Suppliers and B2B clients in the luxury tourism sector were welcomed on the red carpet. The quality of this opening ceremony is also reflected in the speakers, including Tyler Brûlé from Monocle, who gave a witty speech. Tyler is the Editorial Director & Chairman of Monocle that organizes the yearly Quality of Life Conference, which we regularly attend.
The following 3 days were taken up with over 100 pre-scheduled B2B appointments.
The overall takeaway from this event is a huge amount of laughs, hugs and kisses as well as interesting and inspiring conversations, great and exciting people with the same mindset and hospitality at heart, and parties in between.
For me, the grand finale which definitely ended the event as it started, in style, was the farewell party at the legendary Hotel MARTINEZ on the world-famous Croisette in Cannes with a champagne pyramid. Just the perfect setting to bid farewell.
