Stunning venue in Munich for an intimate dinner with Luxury Travel CEOs.

The venue was Villa Diesel, the very house of Mr. Rudolf Diesel who invented the powerful engine that does not require expensive petroleum-based fuel. In doing so, he became not only an internation celebrity but also the enemy of two extremely powerful men: Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany and John D. Rockefeller, the founder of Standard Oil and the richest man in the world at the time.

The inventor was on his way to London to establish a new company that would help Britain improve its failing submarine program when he disappeared.

Today the house is inhabited by Marie Aigner, who is a brilliant inventor of modern living, and plays with loud colour combinations and unusual materials. Marie was the perfect host and gave us a private tour of her house and spoke to us about her collaborations with Hermes and Patek Philippe.

Since 2022, only a select number have been hosted at Ms. Aigner’s villa including lunches and dinners for the likes of Patek Philippe, and Rothschild with their Salon Circle.

This year, Ms Aigner’s villa was also used for the launch of the new Panther Collection for Cartier and  a talk with Sotheby`s which was hosted by La Prairie.
